Odysseus and the Eye of Odin

Odysseus and the Eye of Odin cover

The Golden Apples that keep the Norse gods immortal have been stolen by Gullveig the evil Gold-Witch. But the Aesir are too stoned to notice. And while they’re partying down, Gullveig and Loki form a conspiracy with the Dark Elves (no, not the unisex and flower-power kind) to depose the Aesir and bring on Ragnarok.

In a moment of relative sanity Odin drags the Greek hero Odysseus across the Rainbow Bridge to save the world. Of course Odysseus’s Amazon captors, sworn to carry him back to their own goddess for sacrifice, get dragged along with him. In order to keep tabs on the wily Greek, Odin proclaims their leader Taranga an honorary Valkyrie. He even throws in a flying horse.

With so many myths twisting about each other, even Homer’s hero may fail to get them unraveled before the wolf Fenrir starts gobbling up the world.
